Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM inside your browser, then pinned to IPFS via Pinata. The server never sees plaintext. Lose your password, lose your data — that's the deal.
AES-256-GCM happens in your browser. The server, Pinata, and IPFS all only see ciphertext.
Files are addressed by their cryptographic hash. The data isn't owned by any single cloud — it can be replicated across pinning services, on-prem, or sovereign nodes.
Every login, upload, download, and delete is logged. Admins can export the audit trail at any time.
Don't trust Pinata? Run an IPFS node on hospital premises. We give you the CIDs — you decide who holds the bits.
Not a substitute for a BAA. This MVP is for evaluation only and is not yet certified as HIPAA-compliant. Do not upload real PHI in production until your legal/compliance review is complete and a BAA is signed with every link in the chain (Pinata, your IPFS pinning provider, hosting).
